Bedrock Directions and Trident Killers

Updated Improve this page

Bedrock farms can depend on the direction a block faces. Before building a design, check the cardinal directions in-game and compare them with the tutorial. This matters especially for observers, pistons, portal layouts, and trident-killer chambers.

Use the tutorial's north, south, east, and west references when orienting the build.

A trapdoor-based trident killer uses the chamber geometry and moving blocks to keep thrown tridents in a controlled path while mobs are held in the kill space. The correct orientation and timing are important: copying the footprint while rotating key components can cause tridents to miss or mobs to escape.
